Gentle Breeze pinwheels progress
My little shop, Timeless Calico Designs, has a large selection of historic reproduction fabrics to choose from for your quilt projects. All the colors of the Civil War era are here, as well as some of those sweet 1930′s reproductions.
From a traditional look to modern art, your quilts will stand out when you use the gorgeous designs and colors of the past. I like to use patterns that are friendly to lots of colors and prints, like the pinwheel project shown above.
You are welcome to browse books and patterns for inspiration to make your own traditional style quilts. You might learn a little quilt history, peruse fabric colors and designs from the 1800′s, check out the variety of sample quilts hanging in the shop and browse my large selection of pre-cut fat quarters.

What a great shop. I have never felt so comfortable in a fabric/quilt shop ever. Lindy spent a lot of time looking for a pattern that was done in a class over a year ago and she found it. No where else would I have gotten such personalized service with a wonderful smile all the time. Thanks again for all you do and for having such a great shop. I’ll be up to Sonora again very soon.
